Flint River fly angler

One of the oldest TU chapters in Georgia, the Flint River Chapter is now based in Peachtree City. While it's true there are no trout this far south in Georgia, the Chapter is located near one of the country's most remarkable rivers, the Flint. It is one of only 40 rivers in the country that flows over 200 miles without a dam, and is home of the rare shoal bass.

While TU's stated objectives relate mainly to cold water fisheries, their conservation and education efforts benefit anglers and streams and rivers everywhere.

Come join us - visitors and guests are welcome.

Trout are great, but the shoal bass may be Georgia's greatest.
